Infections of the Respiratory Tract: Nonpenicillinase-producing H, influenzae and staphylococci, and streptococci including streptococcus pneumoniae. Infections of the Gastrointestinal Tract: Shigella. S, typhosa and other Salmonella. E, coli. P, mirabilis, and enterococci. Meningitis: O. Meningitides.
