Indications:

Tamiflu is an an antiviral drug used in the treatment and prevention of influenza A and B virus infection. It works by stopping the flu virus from reproducing within the body.

How to take:

Adult dosage for influenza is one capsule twice daily for 5 days starting from the appearance of signs and symptoms. The medication must be taken within 12 to 48 hours from the first appearance of flu symptoms. Tamiflu can also be given as preventive measure community outbreak or following close contact with an infected individual. Take Tamiflu exactly as your doctor has prescribed it for you. Precautions:

Anyone using Tamiflu should be watched closely for signs of confusion or unusual behavior. Call a doctor at once if you or the child using Tamiflu has any of these symptoms.
